This short Zen retreat (Sesshin) will take place in the Dojo TAI KU AN in Barão S. João and starts on Friday 25 April at 7:30am, or 14.30 with a welcome tea, and ends on Saturday 26 after lunch at 14:30.
The retreat is based on Dāna (Fuse) – a monetary donation, there is no fixed amount and each person contributes according to their conscience.
You can participate in the entire Sesshin and sleep in the Dojo, there is a caravan available in the Dojo, and Monte Rosa a separate Rural Accommodation very close by.
For those who live nearby, you can sleep at home and do a partial retreat, but you must do at least three (3) ZAZEN.
Sesshin is an intensive period of Zen training where we can put our social activities aside and life unfolds around the practice of Zazen, sitting meditation.
